The "JOURNAL OF NATURAL PRODUCTS" is an open assess journal published annually since 2008 and dedicated to research of all aspects of Plant/Natural Product. The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. Papers will be reviewed within one month after receipt.

1. Phytochemistry (Isolation, Structure elucidation, Spectroscopic properties, Structure activity relationship etc.)
2. Chemistry of Bio-active compounds
3. Biochemistry, physiology, cell structures
4. Action of chemicals, drugs, or natural products on the structure or function of animal (including human) cells/tissues/genes.
5. Pharmacology, toxicology of plant and their active principles
6. Medical application; Clinical studies on efficiency of traditional medicinal practice/ethnoveterinary
7. Antimicrobial, antiviral, antiparasite activities
8. Ethnobotany/Ethnopharmacology
9. Plant-derived drugs and ethnomedicines
10. Pharmaceutical formulations and evaluation
11. Environmental impact and risk assessment

Note: When studies involve the use of experimental animals, manuscripts should briefly describe the procedures employed for animal care and handling. Where drugs are used at particular concentrations in intact animal systems, the author should indicate some rationale for selection of the particular concentration. Experiments that require the use of animals must be conducted in accordance with the Guiding Principles in the Use of Animals in Toxicology, which were adopted by the Society of Toxicology in 1989.
